We had our Kohler generator installed by Kirkpatrick a couple of days ago. The install went a lot faster than I expected. They pre-fabricate the concrete pad that the generator sits on at their shop—they don't need to pour a pad on-site and wait for it to cure—so it's all done in one trip, and the power was off only for a little over an hour.
