I was exchanging a solar light that did not work for the exact same working item. The staff was cold, did not even speak, or offer an insincere apology. I was waiting for some type of exchange paperwork and the clerk just dismissed us, and said your done. I believe that store and sales needs higher wages, but this was just cold.
Employees were at front of the store when I entered. Did not greet me. Conversing with each other. I went through entire store looking at merchandise. Not even a glance from employees when I left. Bought what I needed at Home Goods.
I got an area rug and two bathroom mirrors. Great deals! So great that when I got home I ordered a second run, got the same liw price and.. got another $15 off the price due to the rewards I got from the first purchase!!
They don’t even greet you when you come in… So it feels a little uncomfortable. Super rude staff, I went in there looking for a baseball tote that I saw a few days ago on clearance and I asked the lady that was behind the counter if they sold out because I didn’t see them. With her back turned to me she said, huh? what? Is that how you treat customers. Excuse me if I was interrupting you? Definitely, we won’t be back to this store in Downers Grove.
