The store is great! But I’ve had continuous problems regarding the pharmacy. Prompting them to change my address (old address was 8 years old) numerous times until three months later it finally gets changed. They continue to use the wrong insurance information after confirming with them a month ago what my correct information is. I was waiting for a very important medication to get a prior authorization for weeks, come to realize, they were using the insurance information I told them not to use last month! So frustrating. Whenever I go there, I don’t feel safe. When an incident happened, I attempted to diffuse the situation, and the manager Christopher Cook came over and escalated it. He was very aggressive towards me.
The store itself and the people that work in the store are fine. Their pharmacy is a joke as is their website for ordering medications. That is a big joke. They need to have someone develop a website that actually works the way it should. Several times I tried to order online and it puts up a list of all these prescriptions that are ready to be filled and ask you if you want to refill them. Hire more people, pay a liveable wage.. mistakes won’t get made. Picked up 4 prescriptions (or so she said), go into my bag, nope, not 4, just one and the inhaler chamber I said I didn’t want. So once again, can’t trust them to do their job correctly, and they can’t blame the doctor’s office on this one…
Love the staff, very helpful. Miri (Mimi) and Leah are excellent pharmacists. Front end store is also helpful in a pinch. For a con: I personally think this pharmacy serves a bigger community than you'd figure which means they get a lot of scripts but have low pharmacy tech retention. They need to give better pay/benefits to attract techs - they do a lot more work than they are given credit for to be honest. Unfortunately, a lack of retention can mean long wait times on certain days but it's not really the fault of the staff... read more
