I moved so I've had to switch kinney. I didn't even get a call or a text message notifying me that my medication was filled and ready for pickup. Though it's a further Drive I may just have to either go to the other one in Potsdam or go back to Canton
My doctor sent a prescription directly to the pharmacy. When I went to pick it up, I was initially told by a staff member that no prescription was on file. After I followed up, she then stated that there was a prescription, but that my insurance did not cover the medication because it is available over the counter. Have never had issues getting meds filled in a timely manner. Staff are nice. But the new AI phone thingy is absolutely atrocious. It makes what used to be a simple phone call about ten times longer. Really wish there was an extension number I could dial to avoid the AI altogether.
I understand that Kinney Drugs can get busy, but this has become a repeated issue. My medication was prescribed, and I even gave them an extra hour before going in. I was told they never received it and that it might not have been called in at all. I contacted urgent care to double-check, and they confirmed it was definitely sent.
