Showing it's age a bit but it's very clean. Water temperature in the pool is great for doing lengths, some places have it slightly to warm which makes distance swimming really difficult. The new, replacement building opens in Spring 2025 Halton Leisure Centre has now opened Kingsway had been demolished
New centre is excellent. Pool is great, but there's not enough room to enjoy a leisure swim, with clubs and lessons going on all the time and swimming lanes being taken up. Some complaining the changing rooms are too cold, but I much prefer that to how hot the old ones were, and the communal changing is much better for families. Staff doing a great job, thanks!
Not a patch on the old place. Limited parking (waited 5 mins for a space) no parent and child. Went in for our first swim, kids all excited…. (Yes I did check it was open online) “sorry pools closed for a gala” went back a few hours later, cramped changing rooms, no space in the pool (lanes, lessons etc) and cold!
