My husband's grandma was at Kingston of Vermilion for physical therapy after breaking her leg. She loved the therapy team, especially Rosa! The staff took great care of her and she's even gone back for outpatient therapy after discharging home!
I was inpatient for 11 days and it really got me back and ready to go back home
My Aunt, who has dementia, lives in Kingston. She was brought there in August of 2024 after suffering a stroke. Since she has been there, they have lost all of the clothes her daughter brought to the facility except a pair of pants, two pair of socks, and a shirt. I bought her new clothes and some of those ended up missing as well. I complained about her clothes constantly ending up lost, and no one could give me a reasonable explanation of how or why. Mother is in long term care at Kingston. She is very well taken care of. The nurse on duty is very attentive as well as the nurse’s aid. She is always showered, given her meals on time and seen from all staff daily and evening. There are activities, pet therapy and outdoor activities we love.
As Social worker in an elder law firn, we have had several families at Kingston, and they have been pleased with the care. We find them easy to work with.
