Best classes for ceramic's hands down. They really don't try to push any one way of doing something and work with you on encouraging your unique style. I also love that the studio is in an old factory. From the instructors, to the community of fellow creatives and artists, to Lex (the owner) herself, the culture (or vibes if you will) is so welcoming, inclusive, and everyone is so supportive of one another. I’ve worked out of at least 6 other studios across the country, and this is by far the best one. I always appreciate when operations are well thought out, and Lex has really thought of everything. The system in place for firing your work is so helpful. You always know exactly where your piece is in the firing process. Its clean. And, as a member, you are allowed to use the studio even while they are teaching classes. Which for me is huge. I took a private lesson from Katherine. I have been throwing for several months but she was able to correct some mistakes I was repeating. Had great suggestions and I left feeling confident. She taught me a variety of very helpful tips. The studio is peaceful and full of kind people.
