If you have a child with special needs that entitles him to have a dedicated aide(DA), start bugging the PGCPS Special Education Dept. at the end of the previous school year to provide him a DA when the new school year starts. Calling the HR is the principal's job. But don't rely on her to do this because you would just be disappointed. I had to call PGCPS myself to follow-up.
