Coming from the United States, my friend and I were quite curious about this rug making popularity in Canada. we got to meet the owner of the shop and she has a fabulous selection from beginner all the way to very complicated patterns. They hand dye wool yarn at the shop and therefore have some fabulous mixed color combinations. The shop is both well suited for beginners and experts alike. Absolutely amazing spot! Hundreds of spectacular quilts in an amazing location. The prices might shock you, but just visiting and viewing them is worth the trip.
Annie's quilts are breathtaking! Plus she makes some clothing and very humorous dolls. It is like going to a museum and seeing fiber art. But they are all for sale. And Annie is happy to chat and show you around her studio. She also teaches quilting. A real gem off the beaten path.
