Terrible experience inside after trying to make a simple purchase the clerk said to show ID, no problem then proceeds to try and rip MY ID out of MY hands, he then demanded I leave and got all defensive like a cry baby.
Always a pleasure visiting King mart, Odai the owner is a great guy and always pleasant to speak with…I would highly recommend King mart as your go to convenience store.
Similar to other people’s experience, the angry man at the counter got angry at me for using my credit even though I said debit — mind you, the transaction went through. (I use a WealthSimple card — this card acts as both debit and credit). He proceeded to ask “you don’t know the difference between debit and credit?” and I said “the transaction went through its fine” what’s the issue? and he said “no it’s not fine, it’s different” (??).
