Absolutely wonderful care home. My mum is 98 and has severe dementia. She was in another care home where she had lived since 2015 - then there was a change of owner and the standards slipped alarmingly. I moved my mum to King Edward and she hasn't looked back. Here is a picture before she moved and another one less than 24 hours after she moved. You can see the difference. The king Edward care home is a fantastic home from home. The staff are specifically trained in managing all forms of dementia , recognising emotional needs and requirements. The home offers freshly cooked meals, which cater for all types of nutrition. The staff empower the residents to be independent, working in a person centred way .
