As stated communication and staff education is poor. Staff is not trained properly in early intervention or how to identify early intervention needs. My child was diagnosed with Autism yesterday. He also has sensory processing disorder, and is delayed. Had the daycare staff to the time to communicate with me and each other, planned and staffed appropriately needs would have been identified and communicated sooner, resources could have been accessed sooner and the diagnosis would have came sooner. Poor communication with parents. Staff witnessed my child struggle for a month and never contacted me until the end. When they saw me drop him off and pick him up they never transparently communicated that he was having issues.They never tried to put plan in place for my child or help my child.. nor did they give me time too. i was told my child could enrolled on January8.
