This place is clean and has quality instructors for both Gi or no Gi. I definitely recommend coming here, especially for people new to BJJ, A good gym with even better people.
Kimura BJJ has been an amazing experience for our family. My 13-year-old son, David, absolutely loves the club and looks forward to every class. The knowledgeable instructors, welcoming family atmosphere, and positive environment make Kimura feel like a second home. Great place for kids, my niece and nephew went there. Marbs is great.
My son, who is now 14, has attended classes at Kimura for three years now. He enjoys the training and is in great shape, and very aware of his body partially thanks to this studio. We greatly appreciate the staff at Kimura. Note: parking at this place is difficult but doable if you don't mind parking on the streets, then walking 5-10min.
Kimura BJJ and the instructors got me hooked on Jiu Jitsu. I'd been to some other gyms and they did not have the same level of program, quality, welcoming instructors, and attentiveness that Kimura in Watertown does. The group atmosphere is one that brings everyone up, and trains students well. They have some of the most knowledgeable and down to earth instructors, and the classes are all a good mix of people.
