I saw Don for acupuncture and a custom Chinese herb prescription, as someone entirely new to both, having done no research prior. 25 years ago, after a bad fall I limped into his office with a knee the size of a cantaloupe. I walked out with a knee already returning to a more comfortable size and condition! Last year he prescribed herbs that made a real difference in treating a serious Covid-induced lung issue. Don is one of the most insightful and effective Chinese medicine practitioners I’ve been treated by in the last 30 years. We are lucky to have him in Tucson.
I have been treated by Don for at least 16 years.He also treats other members of my family, including teens. Don is exceptionally talented as acupuncturist and herbalist. His qualifications are outstanding. I have known several great acupuncturists inside and outside the USA. Don is one of the best.
I have received both bodywork/massage and also acupuncture and herbs from the practitioners at Kimon. I have received treatment from many different providers in Tucson, and I can say that I have a much more elevated experience here. They are clearly very studied and seem to have devoted their lives to their practice, and I feel confident that I’m receiving the best care. I never feel like I should go ask a second opinion elsewhere. Often shocked at the results I see after one or two treatments.
I had a massage with Heather. She spoke straightforward about my overall wellness. It was calm and soothing, but also direct about what I can do outside of body work to improve my overall health (which for me means improving my core strength so I will have less back issues). It’s really nice to receive body work from someone smart who has an overall understanding of a body.
