Actually, I'm Ellen, Larry's wife. To me, going to the hairdresser is like going to the dentist. Its something I dread. All of that changed with my recent experience at The Back Porch. Everyone was so warm and friendly and Becca took such good care of me. I love my haircut. It feels fresh and young and is easy for me to take care of. The physical atmosphere as well as the warmth of the staff is very "old St Simons."
Stylist did a great job with my cut and the atmosphere is so great!!!

It was a most pleasant experience to walk into the Back Porch and be so warmly greeted. Being a clean freak I checked every thing out & believe me, everything is spotless. Elizabeth took good care of me & I highly recommend her. I"m looking forward to my next visit.
What a wedding nightmare!!!! Picking this as my salon for my wedding day was by far the worst mistake made! Unfortunately, I was in school and couldn't make an appointment for a trial, first mistake! There was a mix up somewhere in communication and the proper amount of stylists were not at the salon during the event. One stylist for 5 women (hair and make up) is not possible.
