I've been contemplating writing this for several months now. I came to this office at a very low point in my life. My experience with Mrs. Kim and EDMR therapy is beyond anything I can explain, but I’m going to try. Before starting therapy, I felt like my life was at a complete standstill at best, my anxiety controlled my very existence, and I surrounded myself with the most toxic people and believed “this is what I have earned in my life”. Been working with Kim for several months for stress and anxiety management. I also was wanting to get my emotional eating habit under control. My doctor suggested I see Kim. Love the way she has given me tools to use everyday. Her work with EMDR has made a huge difference for me. Eye opening new revelations have helped me move forward fast! Evaluated my teenage daughter .... and after the consultation told my teenager that I too, the parent, may benefit from a counselor. In my professional opinion, as a clinical pharmacist, I would recommend that Kim Tanuvasa speak with me directly and privately (HIPAA).....before she recommend to my teenager that I, the parent, would also benefit from seeing a counselor. Unprofessional.
