I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience. We paid Kim Butler a $1,000 deposit to photograph our October elopement. In the time between booking and our cancellation, the total amount of interaction we had with her was approximately 20 minutes on a phone call. About a month after booking, my fiancé suffered a medical emergency and required open-heart surgery. We were blown away by Kim and Jesse! Not only were they great on the day and helped us feel comfortable, but the end result was incredible! Many happy tears were shed while looking through our beautiful elopement photos and watching our video. They did a great job capturing all the details and bringing our vision to life. Presented inaccurate information on her website. Claimed to love and accept all people in her bio, but in fact she does not. Be prepared for rejection if you are a queer couple. She will not work with you.
