I absolutely highly recommend Keiser Collingwood. All staff are great (I had Melvin and Andrew, they were so experienced and caring). The staff are caring, competent, friendly and extremely helpful. They have the state of the art equipment and facilities at Collingwood. I was told my my orthopaedic specialist that I need to have a knee replacement asap, luckily my health insurance offered to send me to Kieser to rehab and avoid surgery, for as long as possible. I went as part of my Medicare health care plan, which has 5 maximum sessions per year rebated for specialists. I use 3 sessions here at this facility and wish I hadn't. Trainer was dismissive with terrible bed side manner. Only entering information into the computer before giving me a handful of at home stretches. The implication that I had to sign up to there program to get any real support. I'm sure it's fine if you can afford it, but I do not think it should be included in the Healthcare plan. The team there is fantastic—professional, caring, and really focused on tailoring their approach to suit each person’s needs. I started at Keiser 2 years ago because I was quite debilitated with lower back pain. I commenced a Physio program with Melvin and it was his care, understanding and expertise that started my Keiser journey, one I will never stop! Keiser has changed how I can live. Parking is impossible, don't even bother. Ads $10-$15 a week to the costs of doing Kieser. Great staff, poor location.
