As a parent of a non verbal autistic daughter,Im extremely cautious about her care.I dropped her off here last minute after finding out her regular everyday daycare was closed because of the holiday. I had even called to inquire about the centers information but before they answered I had changed my mind and decided to hang up ,but someone from the center immediately called me back and asked how could they help and was very informative. From my perspective, this place is not for young toddlers (younger 2 years of age) as they are not as attentive for their needs as they should. They also lack communication skills to parents. During my last visit, my child was there for 4 hours. I was concerned about how she was doing and called at 10:11am, they didn’t respond until 11:30am and told me “everything was fine”. This place is amazing—very welcoming! The teachers are well-trained, hands-on, and incredibly patient and kind with all ages. I have an 18-month-old son and an 8-year-old daughter, and I’ve dropped them off multiple times this summer. Every time, they come back happy, excited, and looking forward to going again. As a mom, it’s not always easy to leave your kids somewhere new, but after that first visit, I saw how well they were cared for and how engaging the activities were. It gave me so much peace of mind. We are so grateful for Kids Park the Woodland! The staff understands how to work with children and creates a friendly, patient environment. My son, who is 2 years old and, autistic and, non-verbal, is thriving here. He learns about numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and social skills every day. A special shoutout to Ms. Shaylee, the director, who has been incredibly kind and patient with our family. She goes above and beyond to support my son's unique needs.
