Communication was inconsistent, and I often had to follow up multiple times to get updates or responses to questions. I also felt that my concerns weren’t always taken seriously, which made the process more stressful than it needed to be. While I understand legal matters can be complex and outcomes aren’t guaranteed, I expected a higher level of professionalism and responsiveness. My experience with this law office was extremely disappointing. Communication was poor — I rarely received updates on my case and had to constantly follow up. Deadlines were missed, and I felt my concerns were not taken seriously. The lack of professionalism and organization caused me unnecessary stress and delays. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.

I had a lien filed on my home by this law firm on behalf of a contractor (Mrs. K’s Construction) who left the job unfinished after I prepaid $9,000. I requested a copy of the signed contract they claimed to rely on — and received nothing. I’ve since filed a grievance with the NC Bar, as I believe this lien was filed in bad faith and has caused serious disruption to my property rights. If you're a homeowner, be cautious — and ask questions. This experience has been extremely stressful and disappointing.
