This is by far the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. I asked for overdraft protection to be turned on months ago and I was just billed $271.99 and I had $4 in my account.. now my account is in the negatives. I’m currently unemployed. They don’t even give you time to out money in your account without slapping a $20 overdraft fee in your account which puts you in more debt. I had transactions that I wanted to dispute from being scammed and those claims were denied with keybank claiming that the transactions were 100% authorized... read more

I needed to deposit a check and use the funds to pay vital bills, the clerk's manager helped me to deposit it and said that part of the funds would be available next day. The money was not available the next day so I stopped by to see what was going on and they placed a hold on the check for a week. I have been banking with Keybank my whole life and I have never had an issue like this. I am now unable to get the check back or cash it elsewhere and I have to wait a week for it to clear. The banker is very rude. I was just trying to open a business checking account. I told her that I have been banking with Bank of America already. However, she thought it was “confusing to her and it didn’t make any sense why I still wanted to banking with key bank” I explained that I had a plan to open account with my daughter who lives in Ann Arbor. I guess my explanation was not good enough. I was not welcomed at all. It was a sign to “stay away with this Bank”.
Very professional staff, all covid conscious. Which is wonderful with everyone being so sick at the moment. Also several helpful insights to grow and maintain a healthy credit score. Definitely recommend this location over others.
