Refused to cash keybank check for me because they told me it was “sketchy” that someone out of state wrote me a check and they didn’t wanna lose their job. It was from Ohio, not across the country or anything crazy.
I'm over the local branches. Laid up very sick and needed to cancel a lost check. They insisted I had to come in to stop the check. That's crazy, there's lots of ways to confirm identity. Called the 800 # and got help in five minutes. Funny that. I downloaded the app and now I don't need the local branch to deposit checks after years of going to their ATM only to find it wasn't working. All around unhelpful. Location staff are friendly and helpful. Online services are stellar(24/7 customer service for emergencies! 😍) ATM is less reliable on weekends.
