I called to set up a new account to make sure the staff had time to accommodate me(as one should at any finacial institution) Anakaren was very accommodating to get me in that day because it was my day off. I showed up with proper documentation and deposit amount (again as any financial institution requires) While waiting I spoke to the branch manager who was also very great. This is the most incompetent bank out there. It’s nothing but constant problems—either funds get stuck somewhere in limbo, or it takes a whole week for a check deposit to clear. A week after depositing the check, a chargeback occurs because they are experiencing some kind of issue. It’s a completely hopeless bank—don’t go there.
Horrendous service I regret switching to them and will be switching out immediately.
Refused to cash keybank check for me because they told me it was “sketchy” that someone out of state wrote me a check and they didn’t wanna lose their job. It was from Ohio, not across the country or anything crazy.
I'm over the local branches. Laid up very sick and needed to cancel a lost check. They insisted I had to come in to stop the check. That's crazy, there's lots of ways to confirm identity. Called the 800 # and got help in five minutes. Funny that. I downloaded the app and now I don't need the local branch to deposit checks after years of going to their ATM only to find it wasn't working. All around unhelpful.
