I'd never bank at KeyBank if this is the type of customer service they offer. My mom passed away and I went to close her bank account. I had with me the notarized form from the probate court. The customer service woman I spoke with bluntly said she can't close the account without a copy of the death certificate. I left work early the following business day to get there before they close to take the probate court form along with a copy of the death certificate. After I revealed to the teller that I owe back child support, she reported me. My funds were seized. I have been a Key customer for four years without issue until I came to this branch and revealed my business to the teller.
