First have a service dog, disabled Marine, second lady asked what the hat was for told her in detail im tired of wearing ballcaps, after showing me a few and mean few hats, she huffed at me like I was a problem... hmmm guess business is so good she could hurl actual insults at me out thedoor..... FYI go to the five and dime 1 block over found the hat and paid less for palm leaf....
Loved visiting Key West Hat Co.! The store has a beautiful selection of hats and such a fun atmosphere. Cassie was incredibly sweet and helpful, and even gave us her card so we could call when more ladies hats come in. Excellent customer service and definitely worth a visit while in Charleston!

Horrible racist customer service. Just left the store today (March 20 /26) after visiting on vacation and the sales associate a older white woman with white and blonde hair wearing glasses asked to touch my hair and I respectfully said no and she said I was arrogant and insulted me further for not letting her in my personal space!!!!! The audacity. Avoid at all costs!!! Horrible racist energy in this store!! She was borderline abusive in her delivery after I said “no”. The nerve!!!!
Spectacular selection of the above average cranially endowed headwear. I couldn’t believe selections and staff was incredible!
