We have had issues with the flooring installed by Key. We have been trying since Nov ‘24 to have Key resolve the issue. We have emails proving our attempts. We made a phone call last week as a last attempt before taking the matter public. No response. Buyer beware. Since the new ownership came in the quality of service and response we have received has deteriorated dramatically.
We are celebrating our 25 th anniversary in our modular home. I can’t even begin to tell you how happy we are with it. as a matter of fact, we are looking at doing it again in our retirement. My first place to go would be key home. We worked with Pete many years ago. He was professional always there when we had a question or if there was an issue. 9 months of dealing with Ken at key homes (the owner) who was also our salesman and (allegedly) our GC.. very nice guy on his terms, we had many issues. Many many many issues.. along the way. Over 100 shingles blown off, it actually was snowing in our garage during one of our visits with Ken, always wanted to live in a snow globe.. everything was crooked for a little while, man doors on the garage still are (they’re set in the concrete so that’s not going to change any time soon) the roof has a pretty good drop in it from on... read more
Our experience with Key Homes, specifically with Caleb Frederick, was amazing. We went through the project with, of course, all the anxiety of if we did the right choice instead of buying a old house, built house...and we couldn't be happier, our house is not big,big, but super functional, great finishing and Caleb was there since he showed us the model houses until he was on our house while Nyseq was connecting the service. The house was ready to move in within 2 months and 10 days of the delivery
