Subpar produce. Very overpriced even for New York - if something is on “sale” it’s a normal price, and if it isn’t it’s insane. 7oz boxes of cereal for $9-$12. Ridiculous. The meat here is NOT good. I have had to walk back to return unexpired meat multiple times. If you walk toward the freezers in the front of the store it usually reeks of their garbage. This place is rough.
Great prices and variety of food.
Shopping here is always stressful. The produce is rarely fresh, the prices on the shelves don’t match what you get charged, and pointing it out to the staff never goes anywhere. The managers always have excuses and take forever to resolve even the simplest issue. One time I bought a loaf of bread, got home, and discovered it had holes chewed through the bottom.
