on vacation i wandered in to the log cabin gift shop. it is so charming. the girls were really nice. there are knitted items. i loved the handknit baby sweaters and bought two. $17.23 each!. there were handmade quilted coverlets and throws. i got a stained glass suncatcher. when i was young porcupine boxes were rare and expensive. and i never saw them. i finally found one on mackinaw island and paid dear for it. i was so excited when i saw some at the shop. one was all quills the others are decorated with quills. for a song... read more
What a great gem this place is!! We shopped here twice and found some really great handmade items. The Thimbleberry candles and soap are wonderful, highly recommend. The staff was very welcoming.
