Lots of Alaska souvenirs, big store, lots of sales items
One of the larger souvenir shops in Ketchikan. I found the pricing better here as they had a number of sale items that I picked up, including some chocolate bars and smoked salmon. I doubt many of the store items are local or made in Alaska. Most likely, they are made in China, which makes me wary to buy any souvenir products (particularly clothing) from the area that I am visiting. Ketchikan Mining Company is a great place to buy gifts. You can find something for every taste. The staff are very courteous, but the souvenirs are a little expensive.
