During the COVID crisis, this place, including members of senior administration, banned me and my family (but not all other families) from visiting my mother who was a patient there. My mother-n- law is at the 40th street location and she hasn’t had or been offered a shower in 2 months. We the family leave so many messages and no calls have been returned about the new Medication that’s being giving that’s making her too sleepy to know what’s going on. When she first got there she could get in the chair by herself and regular conversation. 3 weeks later she sooo tired and has declined in health. The food is unhealthy and is fit to rush death. This is a horrible place for your love one to be.

It was a nightmare experience. They did not answer call bells within a proper time. Their doctor misdiagnosed a severe infection and they refused to send me to the hospital, forcing me to call an ambulance myself. The hospital said that I could have died if the infection had gone untreated much longer.

I have just spent 7 weeks at Keswick and was cared for in a very professional caring way. Being bed ridden for most of the time the care I received was outstanding. The therapy department were so gentle and helpful. I highly recommend Keswick for inpatient rehab.
