I think this kennel is great for my dog. He seems excited both times I have had to board him. When I picked him up from boarding the first time, there were pictures of him up on the bulletin board and staff sent more to me by email. When I boarded him a second time, several weeks later, those pictures were still up. However, this most recent time, I asked that he be groomed as well. Keshlyn Kennel is my Sadie's Second Home – I used to take my dog, Sadie, to other places and she never seemed happy. Then I found Keshlyn. At first it hurt my feelings that she was so happy and dragging me through the front door to get in the kennel; she doesn't even say goodbye to me because she is pawing at the door to go into the kennel. Best Kennel In Town – Our dogs first visited Keshlyn Kennel twenty-one years ago when we moved to Lexington. It was apparent right from the start the care and compassion the staff gives to each and every boarder was exactly what we were looking for. We never, for a minute, worry about our dogs when we're away. The staff is tuned in to the needs of all their boarders, and it's obvious that they love what they're doing. This is the best kennel I have ever taken my dog to! She loves it and is so excited every time I turn onto the road. She is so happy there. If you ever need a kennel, this is the place!

Extremely disappoiting pet "care". – I do not think this facility is good for your dog, if he or she is not very used to a strange environment. I thought the whole purpose of the boarding service it to provide "care" to a dog who is out of his or her home. Some care and effort might be necessary. However, apprantly this facility did not provide such necessary care at all. They did not bother to know the name of our dog.
