The clerks at the Kern county tax assessor office are so helpful. There was no waiting. They helped me complete each page of paperwork. And they do all their work with a smile.
Extremely helpful folks. The kind lady that handles the dealer vehicle registrations is awesome. She goes above and beyond.
Lied on the phone, said they could help me with my vehicle registration. Some old woman got in the middle of it when it was almost done and told me I had to go to another county. Don't recommend.
Every single time I've gone to transfer a title or just renew my registration in this state, they make it impossible. I truly don't get it. I'm trying to abide by the rules and pay the government the money it wants, why make it so difficult? I'm from a different state and never ONCE had an issue there. They denied my title transfer because "it looks like the date was written over." It wasn't, but whatever. They gave me an affidavit form that I had the person who sold me the car sign.
