I had a very positive experience at the Kern Valley ER. The staff were friendly, professional, and made me feel well taken care of during a stressful situation. Everything was handled efficiently, and I didn’t have to wait long for evaluation and treatment. As an international patient, I especially appreciated how smoothly they managed my travel insurance. They were knowledgeable and helpful with the process, which made things much easier for me.

Under staffed tarable communication barly any rooms available to see you one room is literally a closet with a sink. If its life threatening they take you in right away but little stuff your waiting for hours

I have been to many hospitals and medical offices in my life and I have never felt so dismissed and disrespected. It's very clear this is the only hospital nearby with the sheer "I just want to send you home" attitude these doctors have. The nurses are incredible but of the 3 or 4 times I've been to this hospital every doctor has had the most "holier than thou" attitude and absolutely did not listen to me at all. I believe this hospital staff saved my husband's life, he never would have made it to a Bakersfield hospital without their excellent emergency care.
