Went here with the family to pick out a cat for adoption. The facility was clean, there were tons of animals as well. Facility staff were also informative and very nice to deal with. We ended up getting us a cat so it was a win for us. 5 out of 5 stars.

I hate to complain, because I do support the KHS. But in a recent visit, we were told we could adopt a dog, requiring no meet and greet with our current dogs. We thought it would be best to go ahead and do a quick M&G none the less. So we drive 40 min back home, get our dog, drive 40 min back to the shelter. So 160 min drive time at this point. And when we got in the gate, the behavior “specialist” immediately commented on the fact I had a vibrating collar on. She was yelling at me asking if I was shocking my dog. I said no ... read more
How hard is it to answer the phone? I called multiple times regarding some questions about adopting cat but I guess nobody is competent enough to pick up a damn phone???
