My father L.P. had hip replacement surgery at University Hospital and then he was sent to Kensington for rehabilitation for 2 weeks from June 23-July 4. We cannot say enough about the excellent care he received. The doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, PSWs, cleaners, maintenance personnel, and cooks were all excellent.
I was fortunate enough to be admitted to the TCU RESTORATIVE CARE UNIT at Kensington Village, after discharge from UH London. The care and concern the Kensington staff showed to all of their patients was remarkable. The aim of this restorative care unit is to help patients gain their independence through exercise appropriate for each patient. As a step down unit from hospitalization I can only praise this facility.
I had great and wonderful care in the TCU. The staff were marvellous and responded to my needs. I get to go about 2 weeks earlier because of kindness of all. Thank you all.
My mother has been in the nursing home at Kensington Village for a few months now and I am pleased to say I have no regrets. I go there several times a week and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The place is clean and the food is good. They encourage my mom to go to activities of which there are many. They keep in touch with me if anything occurs such as a fall or treatment for illness. My mother was tearful about coming to a nursing home but she is now happy and involved. Thank you Kensington staff!
