The Best Church Ever I started going to kensington about almost a yr ago! a friend had invited me to go and was going to meet me there . seeing as i was formerlly raised catholic and in a catholic church I decided i was gonna go and check the church out.. well that friend never showed and I decided I was there and I might as well go in so my daughter and I headed in and we were instantly welcomed by the most friendliest ushers with a warm welcome and a smile and then we heard the band and the music we were like wow!!! whats ... read more
Feel God in your Heart Great contemporary church. The sermons are phenomenal; I find myself crying at nearly each and every one as I experience God's grace through them. My suggestion would be to join a small group as the church is enormous. Try this church one time and you will love it.
Great People This is a very welcoming congregation, that opens their arms to everyone. They have a very modern style mixing pop music and understandable messages. Only problem is the pressure for tithes.
A church for people who donât like church. I have read all the Kensington reviews, and agree with them all except for the statement in one, pressure for tithes. That is not true. I have never given in five years, no money. They even explain the offering as to not pressure especially to guests, and new. I do however volunteer, and work the Food/Hospitality team at Lake Orion. Great Safe Place This is a very friendly welcoming church. Come as you are and feel at home. A great place to be accepted as you heal. No pressure!!!! The messages are relevant and applicable. Music is contemporary but still relates. The children's ministry is awesome. I love this place.
