He is a San Antonio native who graduated from Trinity University and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Hillner has been my physician many years and has provided excellent care for me.
Dr. Hillner takes the time to ask questions and get my opinion as well. He doesn't belittle or make me fell like I'm doing anything wrong. He gently finds ways to suggest life changes to make my health better.
Dr. Hillner was excellent, as always. Through his recommendations and encouragement during my annual physical exams over the years, Dr. Hillner has helped me improve my health and stay in great physical condition.

There are many doctors in the Brazos Valley that are excellent in their profession. But as far as I am concerned Dr. Hillner is above the rest. I wouldn't have any other primary care physician.
Overall a great experience. Typical for the care I get at St. Joseph.
Dr Hillner listens well and answers my questions directly. He is respectful, polite and professional. Does not rush me during the appointment. He is a kind and thoughtful doctor.
They both (doctor and assistant) were patient, asked questions and explained answers well.
Dr. Hillner spent more time with me than my other physicians. He listened. Very personable. He show a genuine concern for patients and appear to love his job.
