Just there over weekend for "A Visit with the Eagles." All the folks there were just great, so helpful and friendly. A special shout -out to Michele and Tammy! Michelle handled our reservation and everything worked out extremely well. Tammy took us on a park tour while we were in wait because of an unforeseen delay. She is amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed everything about the eagle weekend and highly recommend it! We saw lots of eagles and a several other bird species, including a white pelican!
We took package deal which included night stay, wonderful dinner, dance and breakfast New Year's Day. This resort is clean, well maintained, friendly personnel And perfect location. We had a lovely stay!! Thumbs up!!!!
Beware! Beware! Today I made a reservation online for a cottage at Kenlake State Park. Within a few seconds of making the reservation online I received a confirmation by email. This was at 12:08 pm CDT. My husband and I proceed to drive over 100 miles from our home to Kenlake only to be told we do not have a room since Kenlake has overbooked!!The front desk had the online reservation in their system. Only thing was--someone else had the cottage we reserved. Very, very poor system!
We had our wedding here in September of 2015. It was absolutely beautiful. Tammy Nanney was sweetest and easiest person to work with. We would recommend it to everyone.
