We were looking for the perfect senior home for my 90 year old parents and we found it in Kemptville Retirement Living! Unfortunately, the care my parents needed was beyond what they could provide so we had to look elsewhere but I’m writing this review so that other people can benefit from our experience. Same owners as Russell Meadows? STAY AWAY! Wish i would of checked reviews before moving in to Russell Meadows. Stay away from lower cost then every other residence. Once you move in ... it gets more expensive then you can imagine. Looks can be deceiving. Its poisonous actually.
Our father moved into KVRL 2 years ago after he and his wife sold their home in Oxford Station. His wife required a nursing home while my dad at age 88 could still live in a regular retirement home. Unfortunately, he passed away late last year. We know he loved it there. He always spoke about how great all the staff were along with his fellow retirees. In the past two years my Father has recieved exceptional care while at Kemptville Retirement Living. The staff go above and beyond to provide care for those who require a little extra TLC creating wonderful bonds. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. Many activities are scheduled to entertain. I would highly recommend to those considering Kemptville Retirement Living as their new home.
My father moved into KVRL after a heart attack that meant he could no longer live in his home of 35 years. He was frightened and unhappy with the change in his circumstances, but he settled in almost immediately and the staff were kindness personified. He received excellent support and friendship, and the health care and consideration of his needs were second to none.
