Don’t use this bank if you want your money to be treated like your own. I have NO limit on my daily spending (per KCCU customer care) yet I can’t send a $200 payment through Venmo. I can’t use their “pay a person” feature in their app—the reason given is it is over the daily spending limit. I always have a great experience every time I go in! Everyone is so friendly and quick.
Requires credit check to opening a checking account. No part of a checking account requires credit history. A credit union that doesn't know the difference between credit card accounts and debit card accounts is clearly not a banking institution. Enjoy Basel 3.
