As an over 20 year client with excellent credit score and good cash balance in Kearny Bank I was suddenly left destitute and desperate with suddenly no access to my money in their bank. Though I reported them in advance about my trip to Europe with the locations I was planning to visit I couldn’t use my debit card there. They blocked me right away! Kearny Bank was my families bank growing up in Lyndhurst my entire life. I even worked there for several years when I was in high school. Lately a new regime has entered and it;'s been a terrible change. Computers down all the time - unable to get money out. Constant issues with flaws in my bank book with computer and printing issues. Problems having my mortgage mailed to my house in time to pay it on time. I like all of their new banks. Beautiful design, makes the neighborhood looks better.
IT Department hung up on me several times like they didn't want to be bothered when I was having trouble signing into my account. I thought I was being as polite to them as possible, but they hanged up on me about 3 times and just transferred me onto an "Our Office Hours Are Busy!" Line. Closing my account today.
Very friendly and helpful staff! Also usually is not too crowded.
