I can not recommend Kearny Bank overall as I had very poor experience with them. I opened a simple checking account and maintained the minimum balance required but after a few months I realized that they kept charging monthly maintenance fees in the disguise of sending paper statements. On trying to resolve the situation they said this was mentioned in the disclosure documents. They may be right technically and legally but morally and ethically I found this wrong.
