Do NOT take your taxes here. The office is in disarray and when I ask about my taxes, no one knows anything. As someone mentioned below, no one returns your calls! They say that Brenda or someone will call you back and they never do. This place is 100% unprofessional. We were told to come here by our previous tax preparer, Kevin, who was very professional and we had been going to for years. Do NOT use this company.
This company is clearly in chaos. As others have mentioned I did not get timely call backs, (nor did my daughter). When requesting to review my file with an accountant as per their written offer, the head receptionist repeatedly asked what specifically I wanted to review, (despite my responses) and asked if she could review it for me instead (she clarified she is not an accountant) until I insisted I be forwarded to an accountant. The only reason they are getting a one star is because you cannot give zero. Cost us almost $700 for two income tax returns because they failed to inform us of Revenue Canada’s requirement to inform of a home sale until AFTER the return was completed. Elara was okay, but her replacement receptionist was extremely rude and confrontational during our call. DO NOT RECOMMEND this company to anyone.
Working with KD Beaudoin & Company was an extremely costly mistake for my business. Unfortunately, our experience closely mirrors the reviews below—I only wish I had seen them before engaging their services. Communication was consistently poor, expectations were set high but not met, and it often felt as though the focus was on selling trusts rather than providing ongoing accounting support and advice. Highly recommend Kevin and his team, I’m giving a 4/5 because his invoices are a little on the high side but the tax savings I get from his recommendations pay for itself
