I just love this place, it has some many cute items for decor. My husband found lots of food items that he wanted. Very friendly owner too!
KB Mercantile is a hidden gem. There's a variety of offerings including a nice selection of Amish food. My favorite is the Chicken Pot Pie. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out! (Did I mention the owner of the store drives to Pennsylvania each week to pick it up?) Also, I LOVE that there's handmade goods. Individual vendors create a variety of treasures. There's antiques, as well. If you have not visited, I'd encourage you to do so!
We stopped in for the (delicious) funnel cake when we noticed the stand set up in the parking lot, but ended up sticking around for some wonderful conversation and to purchase some items from the store. This is a really unique and special place in the heart of Salem - the goods they sell are high quality, the food is delicious, and the owners are kind and community-focused.
