Kaw River staff and administrators lied to me for 2 1/2 days about my friend, legal guardian. A staff member stole his phone went off property with it. Hospice workers and police help me get it back to him. He's end of life DNR, And court order CMO, comfort measures only. Life 360 on the phone I bought. Administrators and staff lied to me until I called the police, this ended Friday, working on over Juneteenth holiday weekend to have him transferred to a facility that doesn't lie and steal from patients. Poor management along side careless employees.
Kaw River Care and Rehab is an excellent skilled nursing facility located here in Edwardsville, KS. We are a proud sister facility to KRCR. Kaw River is a great place to live because of caring, dedicated team members led by a true leader, Steven Erskin.
Many patients with mental health issues and staff not trained to address them. Leadership team is every man for themselves but wants to portray a different truth. Corporate does not address serious leadership issues when presented with them which has lead to a large exodus of staff in the past 60 days. The actually rating of the facility is one star for personnel turnover. Residents are delightful.
