Poor communication and customer service seems to be an ongoing problem although it doesn't appear to be represented here on their website link but can be found elsewhere on line. We have been waiting for our order for 4 months and were given assurances that it would be delivered by mid June - it is now July and we still are waiting confirmation of a delivery date. My couch is beautiful. The upholstery is excellent. Kavuus kept me updated on the progress at every step, which I very much appreciated.
We just completed our order with Annu at Kavuus, and we are looking forward to receiving the furniture. While on our second visit to Vancouver this spring looking at furniture stores, we had the opportunity to visit the Kavuus showroom and meet Annu in person. After the visit, we stopped looking at other furniture stores. Ordered my couch in December, finally got it in mid April. The couch had damage to one corner when it arrived which was noticed by the shipping company and noted on the delivery paperwork. It took weeks to hear back from Kavuus about the issue. It’s now mid June and they’ve just told me they’ve organized a local upholstery repair person to come to my house to take a look at it, or else they’d reimburse up to $199 if I organized it myself. We were drawn to Kavuus for their contemporary, comfortable styles. The size and colour choices were exceptional. Bonus was, we ordered when there was a sale on, so that sweetened the deal. The only thing, which did not discourage us, was the delivery wait time. Hey, we're in Ontario, wishing we were in B.C. so yes, it took awhile. But boy are we happy. We even ordered more throw cushions in their beautiful "buttercup" colour. Kavuus will remain a go-to when looking for quality furnishings.
