This is the second Kavasutra location I’ve visited. First one was Deerfield Beach location, which was also a good experience. In fact, there, I had a shell of kava followed by red vein kratom tea. This combo definitely manifested a super chill mood and sensation for a few hours post drink, starting about an hour after starting. The Coral Springs location looked much the same, which was good. As far as kava bars go, this one is smaller than some but the atmosphere is very welcoming. I love that there isn’t LOUD club music playing and the vibe is chill. Joseph was very cool and helpful, so five stars for that. Three stars on the “food” only because I didn’t get the effect I was expecting to get from the drink. I bought the “pink lemonade black top” bottle of kradum tea which is - I was told - same as a large tea. Drank it over about 30 minutes total and had near zero effect. First time at a Kava bar and David explained it all, gave us great info, made some suggestions and let us have a small sample. He was spot on with the taste but a couple pumps of syrup and it was pretty good. Will definitely return!
