Huge turnover in staff creates huge gaps in care. A complete Cluster... regarding simple medical services. Pulling oxygen from one resident to give to another. Hair raising stuff! Food is high carbohydrates (perfect to drive seniors into Type 2 Diabetes if they already don't have it), high sodium (Great to drive that blood pressure sky high) and generally blah. Horrible when meals are the highlight of many seniors' day.
Friendly staff that is always eager to help out. The facility is beautiful and feel like home.
I love my job! I have advanced my career and education path all because of working for owners who care about us! They love their staff and residents and we strive every single day to make each day the best that we possibly can!
Kauhale is an awesome place! It is very nice inside, and all of the staff truly care about the residents. The staff also seem like a little family. I visit there fairly frequently, and it is always very neat and tidy. Heather and her team do some awesome work in the community!
The building allows for memory care and assisted living. Residents are not treated as patients, but as family to the staff. It shows in their care and in how they interact both individually and as a company with the residents' families. Genuine care and love are present from the staff here.
