I had an amazing experience with Katmai Air at King Salmon. From the moment my plane landed in King Salmon, I was greeted by an incredibly upbeat and helpful gentleman who had the best personality ever. His positive energy set the tone for the rest of my trip. To top it off, his adorable dog accompanied his passengers on the bus ride to the king salmon Katmai floatplane airport, which added a personal and joyful touch to the journey. Many, many thanks for the exceptional moments before heading to Brooks Lodge.

These guys know how to fly. I spent the day being flown around by them in ruff rain and decent wind. They knew exactly what they were doing and gave a great pre flight briefing on what to expect from the weather.

Wonderful folks and crew here running Katmai Air, friendly, very helpful and respectful. And they'll certainly make sure you aren't left behind at Brooks Camp. This is our 3rd time flying with them to Brooks Camp. There is a large cabin-like waiting and check-in area for 30-40 guests - they keep this clean, warm and comfortable. They have tees and hats for sale, hot tea, books to read while you wait and and clean restrooms, and always a smile to greet you with! Thank you Katmai Air - see you again soon!
