Food is alright but service on the other hand is horrible. If you’re not buying food you cannot be in the store. Even on wet and cold days. Will not be back.

I don't leave many reviews, but I had to leave one... this wild story happened yesterday. I never got to try the food as the worker (owner, maybe?) threw it in the garbage in front of me. Here is what happened... I was in the shopping centre, and I saw this place and thought I would take a look. I went in, looked around, and ordered sushi. The older gentleman behind the counter seemed a bit annoyed that I had ordered, so much so that I made a joke about not ordering sushi. I’ve been eating at Katie’s since the early 2000’s. It’s the first place I ever tried sushi, in fact. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in a lot of different places since, and Katie’s still stands out. The food is consistently good and still a great price. The owners have always been kind to me. I don’t live in CR any more, but I always make a point to eat here (several times, lol) when I come to town to visit!
