Katherine is a wonderful, creative art teacher, no matter what your age. My daughter and I treat ourselves to an art lesson whenever we are in town. Katherine always designs an art project that is fun and doable in 2 hours. During the lesson, she patiently guides and inspires without getting in the way of the student’s creativity. If there's art in you, Katherine will find it. My husband and I moved to Raonoke a few years ago and met Katherine at a party. He immediately started classes with her, and I quickly followed. he's been working on drawing and painting independently for many years. I was an art history major in college and hadn't done too much aside from collage since then.
